Description
- PG dept of chemistry offering MSC (organic chemistry) has been started under the aeger of professsor T.Sitarama rao in the 2000 under the headship of Dr.M.sunitha .
- The first batch was started with an intake of 24 students.
- The batch was started with a very good infrastructure providing sufficient equipment in the laboratry with organiic as specialisation
- The students were provided with an excellent coachng by highly efficient staff who dedicate their services in their respective specialisations
- The students are also given guest lecture and extension lectures by eminent professor from university
- Many of the students bagged gate ranks and CSIR fellowships the students who got CSIR fellowships are aptly involved in reaserch work at different universities and CSIR distributors like IICT
- Our students are placed at different MNC`s like GVK , DIVS, DR.Reddys laboratries etc.. who are holding the top positions are giving their valuable suggestions.
- At present the department offers Msc course with 30 general seats and 6 sponsered (mangement) seats.
- Presently Dr. M.sunitha reddy is the course coordinater along with sr.faculty members is actively involved in running smmothly the course work
- The students are encouraged in giving seminars other extra co circular activities
- The excellent coaching methods by the faculty members and guest lectures made our students to bag more number of distinctions in every acadamic year
- The department conducted workshops on PG practicals in collaboration with college devolopment council(CDC) K.U.
- The college provides excellent infra structure like good laboratory facilities , hightech classrooms equipped with OHP`s & LCD`s.
- The college has good library with goodcollection of various reference books & journals
- Thus the department is looking forward with a broader vision on the PG course work with constant encouragement by the MANAGEMENT
