Description
Zoology course was started in the academic year 2003 in Vaagdevi P.G college with 30 students under the guidence of D.r. K.Vasumathi reddy. Admissions to the course are from convenor kota of kakatiya university and 6 seats are Offered as management kota.our department has qualified teachers who are expertise in different fields like Fish pathology,helimenthology,animal pathology,reproductive physiology,molecular biology who teach by using OHP,LCD. The course is semister wise with 2 semister per year and with 4 papers in each semister. Our lab is well equipped with all instruments required along with a good number of specimens in the museum . extension lectures are being arranged by eminent professors of kakatiya university, so that students are enlightened in different areas of the subjects. Students have to study computers as one of the papers in 3rd semester which makes them learn computer skills which is very important in present generation . our management is also providing internet facility Our student safinaaz has topped the 1 & 2 semesters in K.U. for the year 2010-12
