Not only in the academic matters, but also the college has been maintaining an excellent track record of the games and sports activities. Vaagdevi college has always emphasized on students evolving into a complete person and high importance is given for sports and games. Many number of our students participated in University & National level competitions for which Vaagdevi stands first in its position among the private affiliated colleges in Kakatiya University.

The college has a Gymnasium-cum-weightlifting hall which can be used between 3.00 P.M. and 6.00 P.M. Students can play games and outdoor sports from 3-00 P.M. onwards.

Rules and Regulations:
- Students participating in the Games and Sports should maintain strict discipline on the sports field.
- They should handle games material with utmost care , Damages due to negligence will be seriously viewed.
- Material taken from the Department should be returned by the players every day Before they leave the college.
- Captains will be held responsible for the loss of games materials and for the behavior of players.
- Games material is not allowed to be taken out from the college.

I. Tournaments
- Teams selected from the college will be sent to participate in:
- a) Inter-Collegiate Tournaments of Kakatiya University, Warangal.
- b) District and State level tournaments.
- c) Outstanding players of various games and sports will be sent for University and State Level Selections.
II. Sports Day
- Sports day will be held at the end of the academic year, prizes will be distributed and certificates will be given to the winners in various games and sports on the sports day, outstanding players of the College, who represent the University and the state, will be honored on the sports day.

- P.SuryaDev secured medal(Bronze) in “Khelo India” youth games held at Guwathi Assam 2019-2020 (Gymnastics) Winners of Inter-Collegiate Cricket Championship Kakatiya University 2019-2020
- Students Participated in Inter –Collegiate various tournament for men and women at Kakatiya University level. Runners of Kakatiya Kabbadi Premier League Championship Warangal 2019-2020.
- EENADU Cricket champions in Zonal(District) and Regional (State) level in the year 2017-2018.
- THOTA. SUKANTH of MBA I yr have been selected for Hyderabad “RANJI” Cricket team to participate in All India RANJI TROPHY Cricket Tournament-2017-2018.
- E.PAVAN of B.Com Tax I yr is the winner of 100 mtrs and 200 mtrs silver medal in Kakatiya University Inter-Collegiate ATHLETICS Championship 2017-2018.
